Social Media Specialist

Responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Specialist may also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
  • Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Monitor SEO and customer engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy
  • Collaborate with sales, web design, web development, digital marketing, customer relations and product development teams
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Bolster your network by interacting with industry professionals and influencers via social media
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and social media
  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Knowledge of project management and web design best practices
  • Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

UI Designer

UI Designer — or User Interface Designer — designs all the screens through which a user will move while using a website, app, or video game, while also creating the visual design elements that make this movement possible.

Responsibilities
  • Taking design briefs to understand requirements
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
  • Creating a visualisation of screens within a prototype framework
  • Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions
  • Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders incorporating feedback in your designs
  • Developing and maintaining documentation regarding style guidelines
